4th of July Cookout

Looking for an All-American BBQ this 4th? How about mesquite-smoked chicken with a Southern Spice Dry Rub? This is a great combo for indirect heat set-up such as in a smoker. However, you could omit sugar and grill the chicken directly over coals or a burner for fantastic flavor.

Want to try something different for a small BBQ adventure? Pick up some pork, onions, and Riesling wine for an amazing German style cookout — Schwenker. If you are a DIY-er you can easily put together a swinging schwenker tripod grill setup. However, you could skip the swinging grill and simply cook your marinated meat on a standard grill — preferably over charcoal.

Regardless of choice, have a fantastic Fourth!
